How Secure is Remote Storage Backup?
Backing up data is all about security. Ensuring that your data is securely archived is one of our main objectives. Transmission of data between your computer and your storage vault also happens via military-strength security channels. Click on the image below to see the various features and facilities that ensure that your data is securely and discretely transmitted and stored until you need it.
Many people are concerned that unauthorized people read their files. We agree 100% and have therefore developed solutions that allow data owners to place all their files and documents within electronic storage containers that onlythey can access. Scroll below for more information.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Helping You Protect Yourself
It is our business to provide you with training and solutions that will ensure that your data cannot be read by anybody other than you. We will provide free onsite training sessions on how to achieve this with no change to the way you currently operate. This training is not related to your using Remote Storage Backup; think about who would have access to your data if someone broke into your office and walked away with your computers. Think that these things don't happen; think again. Click here to read some of the cases reported by the international press.
Many programs allow you to protect data using passwords. With a good password mechanism in place it is now practically impossible to gain access to this protected data. We will train you and your staff how to achieve this. With the few programs that cannot be encrypted natively, we use secure containers. One of our favorites is TrueCrypt (http://www.truecrypt.org). Truecrypt creates a virtual encrypted disk into which you place your important documents. The following has been taken from the TrueCrypt site:
"TrueCrypt does not contain any mechanism or facility that would allow partial or complete recovery of your encrypted data without knowing the correct password or the key used to encrypt the data.
The entire file system within a TrueCrypt volume is encrypted (including file names, folder names, and contents of every file).
Does TrueCrypt save my password to a disk?: No
TrueCrypt volumes can be encrypted using the following algorithms:
| Algorithm | Designer(s) | Key Size (Bits) | Block Size (Bits) |
|---|---|---|---|
| AES | J. Daemen, V. Rijmen | 256 |
128 |
| Serpent | R. Anderson, E. Biham, L. Knudsen | 256 | 128 |
| Twofish | B. Schneier, J. Kelsey, D. Whiting, D. Wagner, C. Hall, N. Ferguson | 256 | 128 |
| AES-Twofish | 256; 256 | 128 | |
| AES-Twofish-Serpent | 256; 256; 256 | 128 | |
| Serpent-AES | 256; 256 | 128 | |
| Serpent-Twofish-AES | 256; 256; 256 | 128 | |
| Twofish-Serpent | 256; 256 | 128 | |
You need not worry about all these complications since we will provide the necessary training and assistance that will guarantee that you, and only you, can access your data. If you happen to prefer another product or approach we can use that without any problems. We have made available a number of video tutorials about TrueCrypt
